Such men obviously see women as trophies, not fully formed, equal humans. That's at the root of why they expect to have access to the women with the highest social value--beautiful, thin, accomplished, talented, etc. Their pursuit of these women reflects their self-sense of entitlement instead of genuine admiration for her. Once "captured," she's theirs before she is her own and must conform and obey.
