Retirement is definitely a starting line. I am fortunate to have adult children who realize that fact and have agreed to backstop me as I make the transition to working full time on a pursuit I started 30 years ago. During those years, I studied, cultivated contacts, and kept my eyes on my own interests even when the job took most of my attention. Your job belongs to someone else, no matter how rewarding. Your pursuits belong to you and need your attention.
