5. In the social dominance hierarchy, Black women are deemed/expected to be at the very bottom. If someone is not doing as well (and money equates with doing well) as the person whose "natural" place is at the bottom, that person is in the unenviable position of being below the bottom. That is not the recipe for relationship success. Social hierarchy is a real thing.
